Absolutely beautiful atmosphere and very clean. The portions are huge so you get plenty of food for the fair price. The seafood pasta was the absolute star of the show. It was super creamy with just the right amount of seafood in it so you’re not fishing for pieces of seafood. The seasoning in it was perfection. The fried fish was well-seasoned and crispy with that beautiful flake you expect out of fish. I’m very picky about green beans so was iffy when I heard they were the vegetable of the day, but they were absolutely amazing. The mac and cheese was some of the creamiest I’ve ever had. The blend of cheeses was obvious, and you could tell this isn’t just average mac and cheese. It was just so good. The owner was there, and he was very friendly and chatty making us feel right at home. We even had the privilege of meeting his sweet mama. I could go on and on, but I think y’all get my drift. If you skip out on this place you really missing out on some good real cooking.
The cashier was very nice and informative. I ordered the white beans with potato salad and fish but I got chicken instead BUT it's some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. The white beans and potato salad were excellent as well!!! I already started eating before I snapped a pic.

My goodness was the food delicious! The atmosphere was great, definitely a spot for locals and visitors to have a great meal with some laughs. The different choices of the buffet on Friday, were perfect. I have a small apetite, but man was I fuller than an a Thanksgiving turkey after that lunch! Amazing food, Amazing chef, and an amazing time was had! Most definitely will be back!!
WOOOOOW the food was amazing, the portions were crazy, and the people in there were sooo nice. if i could give 10 stars i would. unreal. also those side containers were busting at the seams. THE BREAD PUDDING... my god...
This spot is unreal. Incredible food and service at a great price. Their lunch buffet is by far the best I've had. When I came to the area I asked a lot of people where to find the best food. They all said that I couldn't because the best food was in someone's home kitchen and they wouldn't sell you a plate. As it turns out they will, and it's a Jae Flem Cafe. Don't sleep on this spot it'll surprise you!
Wow, where to begin! My family of five is on vacation from Detroit, MI and we had just gone on an airboat tour when we googled local restaurants. We landed on this gem, Jae Flem. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, we were well taken care of with the utmost hospitality. And the food!! Let me tell you, you will not be disappointed. The fish, chicken, shrimp, Mac n cheese, and especially the crab cakes were all spectacular. Plus, the dessert! Do yourself a favor and check this place out.
Friendly staff. Very clean building and restrooms. Food is made fresh to order so call ahead if in a rush. Healthy portions and delicious. The cocktails are good and reasonably priced. Will be back again.
